Proverbs 19:17- Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done (NIV). James 1:27- Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world (NIV). ****** So, giving to others is like giving to God, and that generosity is always favored.
Reach and bless those in most need and honor God through service, offering, and donations or generosity.
My wife and I first met Vivian Nwahiri in 2017 during a medical outreach in Malawi, which was organized by African Christian Fellowship USA (Midwest region) in conjunction with Calvary Ministries CAPRO Malawi (where we were Coordinators) and as well as a Malawian local medical NGO, Project Heart to Heart (PHH). She returned the following year and the third for the same outreach and each time, she seemed to have defined the very picture of the team especially at the nursing station. Her sense of humor, dedication, empathy, and willingness to help stood out. She was clearly a team person but had additional energy to do more as a person. Besides what the team could accomplish and after they were gone back to the States, her additional energy manifested, as she wouldn't only do more whilst on ground in Malawi (during the medical outreach) but personally will keep in touch with various persons (through counsels, medical tips/guardian and financially). The fourth year was a covid-19 year, and she was greatly missed, though that became nothing as the team braved it back to Malawi in 2022 without her. Throughout the whole time, it kept appearing that the team wasn't complete, as our "Sister" Vivian was missing. She had become a part of the team combination. Though she kept in touch financially and that regularly (with the Akawus, the Day Care Center, other missionaries, and projects) irrespective of her participation in the general commitment to the team towards other projects identified and have been sponsored. Her personal comment got to the point of overtaking the team commitment, in terms of regularity and scope, especially in finance. guess she has great potentials towards a supersonic speed, depth, and scope if she would pioneer an individual effort. God's speed, beloved Sister.

Tina and I have known sister Vivian for about 18 years. We first met her in Church, Sheffield Family Life Center. She soon became very close to our family when we started attending the same Sunday school class. Vivian is also a member of the African Christian Fellowship where she has been participating in missions work in some parts of the African continent. She is very active and passionate about humanitarian service. She likes to operate behind the scenes without drawing attention to herself. Wherever there is a need, sister Vivian is always there to render a helping hand. In Church and at the Fellowship, she is always willing to volunteer her service no matter how menial the job may be, such as cleaning the bathrooms and helping to distribute food items to members of the community. She is very generous and humble. From time to time, she would locate some needy new immigrants and the less privileged and provide them with money and material supplies to alleviate their suffering. During our annual medical and evangelistic outreach to Southern Africa countries, sister Vivian would work tirelessly for hours attending to patients. Any year she is unable to travel with the group, she would send clothes, medical supplies, and writing materials for elementary school students. Through the years, my wife and I have come to know sister Vivian as a lady of integrity and who has passion for the things of God. She is dependable and trustworthy.
